Because of recent ditch cleaning and shoulder improvements completed by the Town Maintenance Department within the last year. It is recommended that this portion of the storm drain project be deleted. The consultant has advised staff that the Town would realize a reduction in his fees due to the change in scope. Staff is currently working to obtain the necessary public utility easements and right -of -entry permits from the affected residents on Yosemite and Harding Avenue. The completed documents should be received by the bid award date. The estimated cost for design and construction of the projects is as follows: Nicholson Hill Diversion................................. $11,000 Yosemite/Wheeler Storm Drain............................. 41,100 Yosemite/Wheeler Sanitary Sewer.......................... 11,000 Engineer's Estimate: Consultant Fees.......................................... Project Estimate: $63,200 20,000 $83,200 A total of $85,000 has been budgeted and/or appropriated for this project. A more accurate estimate of the appropriation needed will be presented to Council at time of award.
