Main Street Los Gatos, CA 95030 ● 408-354-6832 www.losgatosca.gov TOWN OF LOS GATOS PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OCTOBER 23, 2024 The Planning Commission of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Regular Meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:00 PM ROLL CALL Present: Chair Steve Raspe, Vice Chair Emily Thomas, Commissioner Jeffrey Barnett, Commissioner Susan Burnett, and Commissioner Melanie Hanssen Absent: None. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS None. CONSENT ITEMS (TO BE ACTED UPON BY A SINGLE MOTION) 1. Approval of Minutes – October 9, 2024 MOTION: Motion by Vice Chair Thomas to approve adoption of the Consent Calendar including the amended October 9, 2024 minutes. Seconded by Commissioner Barnett. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. 220 Belgatos Road Subdivision Application M-24-001 General Plan Amendment Application GP-24-002 APN 527-25-005 Applicant: Robson Homes, LLC Property Owner: Union School District Project Planner: Jocelyn Shoopman PAGE 2 OF 2 MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING OF OCTOBER 23, 2024 Requesting approval for subdivision of one lot into two lots, and a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of Parcel A from Public to Low Density Residential on property zoned R-1:10. Environmental review pending. Sean Mullin, Planning Manager, presented the staff report. Opened Public Comment. None. Closed Public Comment. MOTION: Motion by Commissioner Hanssen to continue the public hearing for 220 Belgatos Road to a date uncertain. Seconded by Commissioner Barnett. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. REPORT FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT None. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS/COMMISSION MATTERS Historic Preservation Committee Commissioner Burnett - The HPC met on October 23, 2024to discuss six matters. Three items were approved, two will be returning to the HPC, and one was a denial of a home to be removed from the Historic Resource Inventory.
