JANUARY 30, 2024
The Development Review Committee of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a regular meeting on
January 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Jennifer Armer, CDD Planning; Robert Gray, CDD Building; Corvell Sparks,
PPW Engineering; and Kenny Ip, SCCFD.
Absent: None.

CONSENT ITEMS
1. Approval of Minutes – January 23, 2024
MOTION: Motion by Robert Gray to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by
Corvell Sparks.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
2. 137 and 139 N. Santa Cruz Avenue
Conditional Use Permit Application U-23-014
Requesting Approval for Modification of an Existing Conditional Use Permit for a
Restaurant (Coup De Thai) on Property Zoned C-2. APN 510-17-061. The Project is
Categorically Exempt Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA),
Section 15301: Existing Facilities and Section 15303: New Construction or Conversion
of Small Structures.

The project planner presented the staff report.
Opened Public Comment.
Hannah Micallef, Applicant from Studio KDA
The project is an expansion of the existing restaurant into the adjacent retail space. It
will provide more seating and a new bar and transition seamlessly to match the existing
restaurant.
Closed Public Comment.
MOTION: Motion by Corvell Sparks to approve with required findings and
recommended conditions of approval. Seconded by Kenny Ip.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
Appeal rights were recited.
