DRAFT RESOLUTION 2023- RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONTINUING DEPARTMENT FINES, AND AMENDING CERTAIN FINES AND TOWN CODE
REFERENCES FOR FY 2023/24
WHEREAS, per Resolution 2004-97 penalties for violation of the Los Gatos Town Code shall
be set forth in a schedule; and
WHEREAS, the last update of the Town of Los Gatos Comprehensive Fine Schedule was
adopted on March 21, 2023; and
WHEREAS, those fines currently in effect will remain in effect without interruption; and
WHEREAS, the Town has adopted an e-bike ordnance and updated its tobacco retailer
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, fines have been added for e-bike and tobacco retailer Town Code violations;
and
WHEREAS, outdated references to Town Code sections have been updated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
1. That Resolution 2023-013, “Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
Continuing Department Fines, and Amending Certain Fines for FY 2023/24” is hereby
rescinded;
2. This Resolution is adopted; and
3. The Town of Los Gatos Comprehensive Fine Schedule, attached hereto as Exhibit A,
shall become effective immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the 7th day of
November 2023, by the following vote:
