MINUTES OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
JUNE 6, 2023
The Development Review Committee of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a regular meeting on
June 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Jennifer Armer, CDD Planning; Corvell Sparks, PPW Engineering; and Kenny Ip, SCCFD;
and Roy Alba, CDD Building.
Absent: None.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 10:00 AM

CONSENT ITEMS
1. Approval of Minutes – May 2, 2023
MOTION: Motion by Roy Alba to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by
Kenny Ip.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously 4-0.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
2. 33 E. Main Street
Conditional Use Permit Application U-23-003
Requesting Approval for Modification of an Existing Conditional Use Permit for a
Restaurant (Auzzy the Bear) on Property Zoned C-2. APN 529-28-036. Categorically
Exempt Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301: Existing Facilities.
PROPERTY OWNER: Peter Hofmann, East Main Investments LLC

The project planner presented the staff report.

Annie Le, Co-Owner
They are a frozen yogurt shop with mainly to-go items. They collaborated with the
Town to build a parklet in front. They want to expand their menu to include coffee, pastries,
and sandwiches to maximize use of the parklet.
Closed Public Comment.
Committee members discussed the matter.
MOTION: Motion by Kenny Ip to approve with required findings and recommended
conditions of approval. Seconded by Roy Alba.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously 4-0.
Appeal rights were recited.
