I am writing in support of Item 17, to rescind the censure against Kylie Clark, Planning
Commissioner for Los Gatos. She was unfairly censured for accurately noting that race andsocioeconomic inequality exists and presents an impediment to solving our housing
affordability crisis.
It is extremely difficult to stand up for the disenfranchised when fear and misunderstandingare the loudest voices in the room. Kylie spoke up for justice and deserves to be celebrated,
not punished and silenced of her first amendment rights. Please rescind the censure.
