Dear LG city council clerk,
My name is Sriram Narayanan and I'm a resident of Los Gatos. I'd like to add a topic for
today's town council meeting.
Last week, there was a major crash on Blossom Hill Road near Belgatos Rd intersection. Ibelieve a young man lost his life in this crash. I've been residing in a house on Blossom Hill
Road between Leigh and Harwood intersections for the past 5 years. I have noticed thatvehicles routinely drive on this stretch of Blossom Hill Road at speeds in excess of 60 mph.
The posted speed limit is 35 mph and 25 mph when children are present. I believe that excessspeeding was a factor in the accident that happened last week as well.
It is possible that some may view last week's accident as an isolated event. But I feel that the
city can take measures now to prevent future accidents and keep LG safe for all residents. I'dlike the town council to consider all options -- speed limit enforcement, speed radars, speed
bumps, additional intersections, and other appropriate traffic regulations.
