EXHIBIT A
Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education & Recreation (LGS Recreation) agrees to provide the
following services based on its March 2, 2023 letter to the Town Council as evaluated and
endorsed by the Town’s Community Health and Senior Services Commission.
1. Provide 2.0 FTE Staff to Implement the 55 Plus Program:
a. 0.7 FTE Recreation Coordinator,
b. 0.5 FTE Front Office Staff,
c. 0.5 FTE Activity Leader 1, and
d. 0.3 FTE Activity Leader 2.
2. Publish and distribute the monthly “Print” for people over 55.
3. Conduct a quarterly social or dance for people over 55, including the Summer Picnic and
Thanksgiving Lunch.
4. Host the virtual “hub” of senior resources on the LGS Recreation website, including
reviewing, updating, maintaining, and editing its contents.
5. Support volunteer run programs.
6. Provide 55+ office and phone hours from 9 a.m. to noon during the work week.
