SUBJECT: Receive Report on the Status of the Shower Ministry and Provide Direction on
the Placement of a Temporary Restroom and the Proposed Parameters for a
Hotel Voucher Program for Los Gatos Unhoused Residents
REMARKS:
After the distribution of the staff report, St. Vincent de Paul indicated that the organization
“cannot hold/allocate funds on behalf of another business or entity.” This precludes St. Vincent
de Paul from being the hotel voucher administrator.
If Council agrees with the direction of the proposed hotel voucher program, the Town would
need to determine if it or another organization would be the administrator.
