Public Comments received by 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022 This Page Intentionally Left Blank From: Alex Max Leupp Sent: Tuesday, May 10, 2022 10:02 AM To: Planning Comment <PlanningComment@losgatosca.gov> Subject: CD-22-003, 300 Mountain Laurel Lane EXTERNAL SENDER I am a neighbor of 300 Mountain Laurel Lane and remember when the former structure burned down. During the negotiations of the Greenbriar Development the town, the neighbors and Greenbriar reached an agreement that included limitations to the reconstruction of the burned property. There were good reasons for the limitations because the property is on a ridge line and a large multi story residence would stick out like a sore thumb and would not not fit into the neighboring surroundings. The old residence was a single story construction of medium size which fit well into the hillside and trees. Should there be any consideration to amend the planning ordinance it should limit the residence to a one story building with roof heights of a conventional one store construction. Only one residence should be allowed. The average square footage of the Greenbriar development is 4500sqf and these homes are all on flat lots near Hicks road and not on the hillside. There is no reason like a large family, development cost to justify a larger square footage for this hillside residence. Thank you for your consideration. Alex M.
