A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF ANNEXATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CENTRAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND
THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS.
WHEREAS, the TOWN OF LOS GATOS and the CENTRAL FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT have studied a proposal to annex all
of the territory within the municipal boundaries of the
TOWN OF LOS GATOS to the CENTRAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT;
and
WHEREAS, the annexation is subject to the adoption of
an Ordinance requesting such annexation by the Town Council
of the TOWN OF LOS GATOS; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to fix and establish
the terms and conditions under which it would adopt such
an Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the attached Annexation Agreement contains
such terms and conditions;
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED
by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, that said Town Council
hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor to execute the
attached Annexation Agreement between the TOWN OF LOS GATOS
and the CENTRAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 1970-24 adopted
by the Town Council on March 2, 1970, approving and authorizing
the execution of the Annexation Agreement in another form,
is hereby repealed.

the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos held on the 23rd
day of March , 1970, by the following vote:
