COMMITTEE REPORT
MINUTES OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
DECEMBER 14, 2021
The Development Review Committee of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Regular
Teleconference Meeting on December 14, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
This meeting was conducted utilizing teleconferencing and electronic means consistent with
State of California Executive Order N-29-20 dated March 17, 2020, regarding the COVID-19
pandemic and was conducted via Zoom. All committee members and staff participated from
remote locations and all voting was conducted via roll call vote. In accordance with Executive
Order N-29-20, the public could only view the meeting online and not in the Council
Chambers.
ROLL CALL
Present: Jennifer Armer, CDD Planning; Robert Gray, CDD Building; Mike Weisz,
PPW Engineering; and Kenny Ip, SCCFD.
Absent: None.
Staff: Jocelyn Shoopman, CDD Planning.
MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 10:05 AM

CONSENT ITEMS
1. Approval of Minutes – December 7, 2021
MOTION: Motion by Robert Gray to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by
Mike Weisz.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously 4-0.

Requesting Approval for Construction of a New Single-Family Residence on Property
Zoned R-1:12. APN 409-25-030.
PROPERTY OWNER: Edward and Renee Fields.
APPLICANT: Kenneth Mitchell.
PROJECT PLANNER: Jocelyn Shoopman.
Continued from November 16, 2021. Requesting Continuance to December 14, 2021.
The project planner presented the staff report. The applicant requests that the project be
continued to a date uncertain. It will be re-noticed at that time.
Opened Public Comment.

Notice Cards arrived in the mail 3 days before the first meeting date. Is there another
way to receive notice earlier?
Closed Public Comment.
The project planner described other ways to receive notice of the project’s status. On the Town
Website, Pending Planning Projects are listed. Project status updates and the project planner’s
email link are listed. They can directly email the project planner for updates.
Staff added that general questions can be submitted using the Planning Department email
address at Planning@losgatosca.gov.
The project planner said that the applicant is working to complete the fencing and retaining
wall of the project as previously discussed.
MOTION: Motion by Mike Weisz to continue to a date uncertain and re-notice
once the date has been determined. Seconded by Robert Gray.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously 4-0.
