Bowman, Planning Director SUBJECT: Blackberry Hill Road County Referral # 6520-32-48-97DR-97B-97G Design Review, Building Site, Grading RECOMMENDATION: Forward a recommendation of approval subject to one condition. REMARKS The applicant is requesting approval to construct a 4,089 square foot multi -level single family residence with an 823 square foot garage on five acres. The proposed residence meets all Town setback and height requirements. A recommendation for approval should be forwarded to the County with the following condition: 1. REMARKS The applicant is requesting building site approval to add onto an existing residence on 28,070 square foot parcel, prezoned R-1:20. The addition, will connect the detached garage to the house. Other small additions are proposed at the front of the house. Both the house and garage currently have a nonconforming setback of eight feet four inches, 15 feet is required. The addition will maintain the nonconforming setback, which is permitted by Town Code. The proposed work meets all Town requirements in terms of setbacks, therefore, a recommendation for approval should be forwarded to the County. MEMORANDUM DATE: February 20, 1997 TO: David W. The proposed work meets all Town setback requirements, therefore, a recommendation for approval should be forwarded to the County. TOWN OF LOS GATOS CALIFORNIA TOWN COUNCIL/PARKING AUTHORITY March 3, 1997 Minutes TOWN COUNCIL The Town Council/Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:33 p.m., Monday, March 3, 1997, in regular session. ROLL CALL Present: Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Jan Hutchins, Linda Lubeck, and Mayor Joanne Benjamin. Absent: None. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Given by all in attendance. CLOSED SESSION Town Manager, David Knapp, reported that Council had met in Closed Session prior to this evening's meeting pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6, regarding Conference with Labor Negotiator. The Town Negotiator and Assistant Town Manager, James Piper met and negotiated with Town Employees' Association (TEA), and Confidential Employees. Town Negotiator met with Council concerning settlement which appears in reports on tonight's agenda. PRESENTATION/SUPERIOR COURT/ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE (00.44) Leslie Nichols, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court, reported on matters related to the work of the Superior Court and the Administration of Justice in Santa Clara County. SCHEDULE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS (01.01) Informational report regarding currently scheduled public hearings was received and filed.
