DISCUSSION:
The Council indicated an interest in the floor area of nearby neighborhood and destination retail
businesses. The following is offered as background information:
• Safeway/Union - 45,000 SF
• Borders Books/Downtown: 15,334 SF
• Lunardi's Grocery/LG Boulevard: 23,692 SF
• Office Depot/LG Boulevard: 28,000 SF
• Lunardi's: 23,900 SF
• Whole Foods: 21,800 SF
• Fry's (Campbell): 156,573 SF
• Costco/Almaden: 141,000 SF
(Average floor area ranges for Costco: 70,000 - 205,000 (includes tire center, gas service
station and warehouse)
• Best Buy/Almaden: 40,000 Approx. SFT
(Average floor area for Best Buy: 20,000 - 45,000)
• Target/ Oakridge Mall: 150,000 SF

Oiir family owns APN#424-07-O45, 15011 and 1.50 IS Los Gatos Blvd, It's about 1 archer,
It's been in our family fhrover 50 years. My father passed away about 2 years ago and I have been
handling the property en my Carnily's behalf,
We would like. to get some information about doing new construction on Our land. We would like to
demo arid rebuild office spaces with parking. As you can sec from the surrounding area °Bice/retail
spaces have been going up all around. The Yucki family owns land in the surrounding area_ I
believe at this time they are also talking about building orrice space etc. We would like to be part of
this and get some information.
113 new construction is not able to happen 1 need to get information about updating our current
buildings and expanding.
