Honorable Mayor Sayoc and Town Council Members,
As a resident, business owner and/or visitor of Los Gatos, I strongly urge you to immediatelyaddress the "Public Safety Crisis" in the Town of Los Gatos.
Under Town Manager Laurel Prevetti's leadership, we have:
- No full-time Los Gatos Police Chief
- Dangerously low dispatcher levels
- Low morale within the Los Gatos Police Department
- Zero transparency with the residents/business owners of Los Gatos
Please address this "pubic safety crisis" immediately!
WE, the residents and business owners of Los Gatos deserve better!
As a 20 year veteran of LGPD and past President of the Los Gatos Police OfficersAssociation, I can tell you that you are on the verge of losing your entire police force due toperceived corruption at Town Management level. Don't lose the excellent group of officers weworked so hard to build up.
