You’ll find enclosed our request to add stairs from the street/sidewalk level up to our front stairs. We
are making this request in order to provide easier access for guests and visitors to our property, rather
than entering from the driveway opening. It will be kept in the manner noted for other homes on
Alpine. We believe that the house originally had an entrance here as noted by the pictures attached. It is
a safer entry point than the driveway entrance and as it is in the middle we believe it will be more
aesthetically pleasing.
Note that the original Drainage & Landscape Plan shows the old opening being filled-in. Also note that
the bay windows were added as part of the 1981 remodel (elevations attached).
