Can you provide additional information on what the GPAC will be doing at the meeting on December 11, 2018? At tonight’s meeting, the GPAC will be continuing their discussion of potential issues and opportunities for the 2040 General Plan update. Staff and Mintier Harnish Planning Consultants are looking for input from the GPAC members on ideas that were not included in the workshop materials (Attachments 5 and 6) and items that should be emphasized. At this point in the process, we are not prioritizing the ideas, but welcome comments on the specific ideas from the workshop materials that the GPAC believes are important or that are not appropriate for this General Plan update. Attachment 7 contains a written comment provided by a Committee Member. ATTACHMENTS: Attachments previously received with October 30, 2018 Staff Report: 1. Under the rubric "Town Identity/Community" I suggest that there be a portion of the General Plan that identifies not only the Downtown, Almond Grove and Historic Districts, but other neighborhood areas in the Town as well. Examples might include Blossom Manor, Shannon, Kennedy, and East Los Gatos. This recognition would promote community identity, serve as a focus on local issues of concern, and potentially act as a factor in land use applications. I appreciate consideration of this suggestion. Jeffrey A. Barnett, Esq.
