I'm not sure I'll be able to attend the meeting on Sept. 12, so here are my comments.
I live 3 lots away from 100 Los Gatos -Saratoga Road on Wraight Avenue. The mixed-use building is an attractive, well-
kept building. It looks from the proposal like the owners are not anticipating having to make significant building
additions or changes to meet the requirements for converting the apartments to condos, which is great.
However, some of us neighbors on the south end of Wraight Ave. might disagree with this statement in Ray Hashimoto's
letter:
"The existing mixed-use project operates on an 'Alternating Uses' Parking Program that has operated successfully since
2003."
Employees and customers of the businesses at 100 Los Gatos -Saratoga Rd. routinely park on Wraight Ave. instead of in
the building's parking garage . This has been more of an issue during the day than at night, but it could become even
more of a problem if condo owners have more cars than apartment renters and leave their cars in the garage during the
day, occupying spaces that employees and customers need .
Could we have some assurance that the owners and tenants of the building will use the parking on site and not overflow
into the neighborhood?
