ROLL CALL Present: Vice Chair Mary Badame, Committee Member Michael Kane, Committee Member, Thomas O’Donnell, Committee Member Barbara Spector Absent: Chair Marcia Jensen VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS None. CONSENT ITEMS (TO BE ACTED UPON BY A SINGLE MOTION) 1. Approval of Minutes – March 14, 2018 MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Barbara Spector to approve the consent item. Seconded by Committee Member Thomas O’Donnell. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. 16940 Roberts Road Conceptual Development Advisory Committee Application CD-18-001 Requesting a preliminary review of plans for demolition of an existing single-family home and construction of a three-unit, two-story, multi-family dwelling on property zoned RM:5-12. Applicant presented the proposed project. Opened and closed Public Comment. Committee members discussed the matter and provided the following questions and comments: • Detached homes would be a better fit for the neighborhood. • The Committee is more in favor of the detached homes. • Smaller units would be preferred and would be a nice option for smaller families. OTHER BUSINESS 3. Election of Chair and Vice Chair MOTION: Motion by Vice Chair Mary Badame to elect Barbara Spector as Chair. Seconded by Committee Member Thomas O’Donnell. VOTE: Motion failed due to Committee Member Barbara Spector declining nomination. MOTION: Motion by Vice Chair Mary Badame to continue the matter to the next CDAC meeting. Seconded by Committee Member Barbara Spector. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
