SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT
ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR JUNE 14, 2000 HELD IN
THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS,
CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at 4:40 P.M.

ITEM 1: Discuss Role and Responsibility of Conceptual Development Advisory
Committee
Comments:
A. Meeting Format:
· Originally formed in 1992 to assist project applicants in determining
whether an application should be processed...is the project worthy of
consideration.
· CDAC comments should be focused on consistency with the General Plan.
· Should not be used as a design review format, but concentrate on land use
issues, General Plan/Zoning issues, etc.
· Meeting should be ten minutes applicant presentation with five minutes
CDAC response.
· Chair to check with staff regarding meeting time limits.
· Handout/application should include role of CDAC.
B. Role of Chair
· Planning Commission chair should chair CDAC; if absent, next highest
seniority Planning Commissioner serves as chair.
· Council representatives on CDAC membership determined by Council
discussion.
C. Term of Office of CDAC Chair
· Same term as Planning Commission chair.
ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 5:05 p.m. The next regular meeting of the
Conceptual Development Advisory Committee is Wednesday, July 14,
2000.
