ROLL CALL Present: Committee Member Kendra Burch, Committee Member Melanie Hanssen, Committee Member Kathryn Janoff, Committee Member Marcia Jensen, Committee Member Barbara Spector Absent: Committee Member Jeffrey Barnett, Committee Member Todd Jarvis PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Committee Member Barbara Spector led the Pledge of Allegiance. The audience was invited to participate. VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS - None. OTHER BUSINESS (Heard out of order) 3. Election of Chair and Vice Chair. MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Marcia Jensen to elect Committee Member Melanie Hanssen as Chair. Seconded by Committee Member Kendra Burch. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Barbara Spector to elect Committee Member Kendra Burch as Vice Chair. Seconded by Committee Member Marcia Jensen. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. Approval of Minutes – October 27, 2016 and November 17, 2016 MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Barbara Spector to approve the minutes from October 27, 2016 and November 17, 2016. VOTE: Motion fails for lack of a second. Committee Member Kendra Burch, Committee Member Kathryn Janoff, and Committee Member Marcia Jensen recused themselves due to because they were not on the General Plan Committee for the previous meetings. PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. 475 and 485 Alberto Way, 17220 and 17250 Pine Avenue General Plan Amendment GP-16-001: Requesting approval of a General Plan Amendment from Low Density Residential to Office Professional for properties located at 17220 Pine Avenue and 17250 Pine Avenue zoned R:1:20. The applicant has also submitted a Planned Development Application (PD-16-001) to rezone the properties at 17220 Pine Avenue and 17250 Pine Avenue (APNs 529-21-039 and 529-21-044) from R:1:20 to O:PD, merge three lots, demolish two existing residences, and remove large protected trees, to allow construction of a new 21,124 square foot office building.
