RECOMMENDATION:
Review and make a recommendation on the proposed second-story addition to ensure
compatibility with the original structure and the surrounding area.

B. Comments
The applicant has submitted an Architecture and Site application which includes construction of
a new second-story addition on a single-story residence, constructed prior to 1941. The project

has been referred to the Committee for its input and recommendations to ensure the
compatibility of the proposed changes with the original structure and the surrounding area.
DISCUSSION:
A. Required Considerations
_X_ In evaluating applications, the deciding body shall consider the architectural style,
design, arrangement, texture, materials and color, and any other pertinent factors.
Applications shall not be granted unless:
1. For pre-1941 structures, the proposed work will neither adversely affect the exterior
architectural characteristics or other features of the property which is the subject of
the application.
