VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS None. CONSENT ITEMS (TO BE ACTED UPON BY A SINGLE MOTION) 1. Approval of Minutes – February 22, 2017 MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Matthew Hudes to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by Committee Member Robert Cowan. VOTE: Motion passed 4-0-1, Committee Member Thomas O’Donnell absent. PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. 125 Tait Avenue Minor Residential Development Application MR17-001 Requesting approval to construct a new second story addition and front porch modifications to a contributing single-family residence in the Almond Grove Historic District on property zoned R-1D:LHP. APN 510-18-033. PROPERTY OWNER: Brian and Casey Quigley APPLICANT: Jay Plett PROJECT PLANNER: Jocelyn Puga Opened and closed Public Comment. APN 529-04-072. PROPERTY OWNER: Ted Moorhead APPLICANT: Jim Morelan PROJECT PLANNER: Sally Zarnowitz Opened and closed Public Comment. Committee members discussed the matter. MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Robert Cowan to determine that the primary structure located at 16707 Shannon Road has no historic significance or architectural merit. Seconded by Committee Member Matthew Hudes. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. OTHER BUSINESS 4. 231 University Avenue Requesting preliminary review for a proposal to demolish a contributing single-family residence in the University-Edelen Historic District on property zoned R-1D:LHP.
