MINUTES OF THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 13, 2019
The Historic Preservation Committee of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Regular Meeting on
November 13, 2019, at 3:00 p.m.

1. Approval of Minutes – October 23, 2019
MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Thomas O’Donnell to approve the
consent calendar. Seconded by Committee Member Nancy Derham.
VOTE: Motion passed 3-0, Chair Matthew Hudes abstained.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
2. 225 Wilder Avenue
Minor Residential Development in a Historic District Application HS-19-037
Requesting approval for exterior alterations to a contributing single-family residence in
the Almond Grove Historic District on property zoned R-1D:LHP. APN 510-17-024.

MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Thomas O’Donnell to recommend for
approval as proposed. Seconded by Committee Member Nancy Derham.
VOTE: Motion passed 3-0, Vice Chair Robert Cowan recused.
3. 29 Broadway
Minor Residential Development Application MR-19-024
Requesting approval for construction of a two-story addition to a contributing single-
family residence in the Broadway Historic District on property zoned R-1D:LHP. APN
510-45-059.
PROPERTY OWNER: Andrew T. Law
APPLICANT: Lerika Liscano, DeMattei Construction
PROJECT PLANNER: Sean Mullin
Sean Mullin, Associate Planner, presented the staff report.
Applicant presented the proposed project.
Opened and closed the Public Comment.
Committee members discussed the matter.
MOTION: Motion by Vice Chair Robert Cowan to recommend approval of the
requested addition with similar cornice detail and matching fascia and
gutter to the satisfaction of the Community Development Director.
Seconded by Chair Matthew Hudes.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.

4. 2020 Meeting Calendar
MOTION: Motion by Chair Matthew Hudes to approve. Seconded by Committee
Member Nancy Derham.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
