VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS None. CONSENT ITEMS (TO BE ACTED UPON BY A SINGLE MOTION) 1. Approval of Minutes – January 23, 2019 MOTION: Motion by Vice Chair Robert Cowan to approve the consent calendar. Seconded by Committee Member Thomas O’Donnell. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. 4-0-1, Committee Member Leonard Pacheco absent. PUBLIC HEARINGS 2. 221 Almendra Avenue Minor Residential Development Application MR-19-003 Requesting approval for construction of a second story addition to a new single-family residence on property zoned R-1D:LHP. APN 510-14-044. PROPERTY OWNER: Devcon Construction Inc. MOTION: Motion by Committee Member Thomas O’Donnell to recommend for approval as proposed. Seconded by Committee Member Nancy Derham. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. 3-0-2, Committee Member Leonard Pacheco absent, Vice Chair Robert Cowan recused. OTHER BUSINESS 3. 445 Los Gatos Boulevard Requesting preliminary review of a proposal for construction of a new second story addition to a pre-1941 single-family residence on property zoned R-1:8. APN 529-20-006. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Shahbaz Akhtar PROJECT PLANNER: Sean Mullin Sean Mullin, Associate Planner, presented the staff report. Tom Rolette, on behalf of the owner, presented the proposed project and adjustments made based on prior comments from the committee. Committee members discussed the matter. 4. 430 Los Gatos Boulevard Requesting preliminary review of a proposal for exterior alterations to a pre-1941 single-family residence on property zoned R-1:8. Committee members discussed the matter. Committee members had no objection to the proposed project. 6.
