SUMMARY MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR JUNE 22, 2016 HELD IN THE
TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS , 110 E MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA .
The meeting was called to order at 4:02P.M. by Chair Bob Cowan.

Requesting approval of exterior modifications for a contributing single-famil y
residence in the Broadway Historic Di strict on property zoned R-1 D:LHP. APN
510-45-002.
PROPERTY OWNER: Morgan Elisa C Trustee
APPLICANT: Brian Aced c/o De Mattei Construction
PROJECT PLANNER: Marni Moseley
MOTION: Kathryn Janoff moved to deny the modifications as presented and provided the
following direction:

Adjournment
• The existing siding on the residence should be maintained and matched in the
additions.
• The garage siding should match that of the residence and employ real wood
materials if possible within the State Wildland Urban Interface requirements .
• Windows above the rear gable may be appropriate if matching in style and
materials to that of the front gable.
• All windows should have divisions consistent with the existing windows.
The motion was seconded by Mic hae l Kane.
