The Development Review Committee of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Regular Meeting on
October 15, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.

Requesting approval for site improvements requiring a grading permit on property

Requesting approval for site improvements requiring a grading permit on property

Opened Public Comment.
Michelle Maybury (15675 Gum Tree Lane) –
They live downhill from the neighbors and are concerned with the location of the future pool
and pool equipment. Specifically, they are concerned with the noise and visual impact of the
pool and pool equipment. She felt that the proposed fence and landscaping screening was not
adequate and requested additional trees to help mitigate her concerns. She also requested that
the pool equipment be moved closer to the pool, further away from her bedroom.
David Fox (applicant) -
Responded that the future pool equipment was designed in this location for accessibility along
the driveway. Mr. Fox explained that they anticipate adding a fencing, landscaping and sound
proofing measures to address the neighbor’s concerns.

MOTION: Motion by Mike Weisz to approve. Seconded by Robert Gray.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
3. 21 N. Santa Cruz Avenue
Conditional Use Permit Application U-19-010
Requesting approval of a modification to an existing Conditional Use Permit for
expanded hours of operation in an existing restaurant (Andale’s) on property zoned
C-2:LHP. APN 510-44-036.
