SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR OCTOBER 4, 2016 HELD IN THE TOWN
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA .
The meeting was called to order at 10:07 a.m. by Chair Machado.

Requesting approval for a technical demolition of an existing single-family residence and
to construct a new single-family residence on property zoned R-1 :8. APN 532-42-026.

6. Sally Zarnowitz moved to continue the application to the October 11 , 2016 Development
Review Committee meeting to allow time for the applicant to work with the neighbors on
potential design revisions.
7. Mike Weisz seconded , motion passed unanimously.

Requesting approval to install a trellis over an approved outdoor seating patio for a
hotel/restaurant (The Inn of Los Gatos) on property zoned CH:PD. APN 529-23-007.

of th e California Environmental Qualit y Act, Section 15301 : Existing Facilities in that the
project consist s of exterior modificatio ns to an existing commercial building th at will not be . . . . mcreasmg m s 1z e.
Required finding for the Commercial Design Guidelines:
The exterior modifications a re consistent with a pplicable provisions of th e Commerci a l
Design Guidelines.
CONSIDERATIONS
Considerations in review of Architecture & Site applications:
As required b y Section 29.20.150 of the Town Code, the conside rations in review of an
architecture and s ite application were a ll made in reviewing this project. The pro p osed trellis
is consistent and compatible with th e existing a nd surrounding buildings.
