SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR JANUARY 9, 2007 HELD IN THE TOWN
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM. by Chair Baily.
ATTENDANCE
Members Present:
Sandy Baily, Associate Planner
Wayne Hokanson, Fire Department
Anthony Ghiossi, Senior Building Inspector
Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer
PUBLIC HEARINGS
ITEM 1: 17603 Bruce Avenue
Architecture and Site Application S-05-068
Requesting approval to demolish a pre-1941 single family residence and to construct
a new residence with a detached garage over 450 square feet in area with reduced
setbacks on a nonconforming lot zoned R-1:8. APN 410-11-006.
PROPERTY OWNER: Walter Van Hooff
APPLICANT: Sandra Paim
1. Chair Baily opened the public hearing.
2. Staff gave report on proposed project.
3. Applicant was introduced.
4. Members of the public were present:
Steve and Rebecca Wade, neighbor, stated that they met with the applicant and changes are
proposed to the plan to mitigate their privacy concerns.
Bryan and Kelli Carr stated they had not had an opportunity to meet with the applicant to
discuss their privacy and shadow concerns.
Matter was continued to the next meeting to allow the applicant time to meet with the Carr's
and to revise the plans for neighbor and staff reviews.
