ATTENDANCE Members Present: Anthony Ghiossi, Senior Building Inspector Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer Joel Paulson, Associate Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Sandy Baily, Associate Planner PUBLIC HEARING ITEM 1:15950 Cerro Vista Drive Architecture and Site Application S-05-054 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-1. APN 537-26-067. PROPERTY OWNER: George and Patricia Yellich APPLICANT: Tony Jeans 1. Chair Baily opene d the p ubli c heari ng. 2. Staff gave report on proposed project. 3. Applicant was introduced 4. Members of the public were present: Katherine Ross, neighbor, expressed the following concerns: a. Possible landslides. In response, staff modified the erosion control condition. b.Existing drainage problem on street. Staff stated problem was unrelated to application and the neighbor was provided with information on who to contact to fix the problem. c. Maintenance of an existing pedestrian trail. Staff stated that application is conditioned to clean up the trail. Charles McCue and his nephew, Jason Kort, neighbor, discussed hours of construction and a co nc er n a bo ut na il s i n t he ro ad wa y. 5. Public hearing closed. 6. Ghiossi moved to approve the application subject to the conditions presented and as modified at the hearing, with the following findings and considerations: a.That the proposed project is categorically exempt, pursuant to Section 15303 of the California Environmental Quality Act as adopted by the Town; and b.As required by Section 29.10.09030(e) of the Town Code, for the demolition of the existing single family residence the findings were made; and -2- c.That the project is in conformance with the considerations for Architecture and Site applications as set forth in Section 29.20.150 of the Zoning Ordinance. 7. ITEM 2:111 Church Street APN 529-28-029 Conditional Use Permit U-05-001 Architecture and Site Application S-05-002 Requesting approval for additional square footage on property zoned RM:5-12. PROPERTY OWNER:/APPLICANT: Los Gatos Methodist Church Application deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Matter tentatively scheduled for a Planning Commission meeting of July 13, 2005. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 9:40 A.M.
