10-26-04 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR OCTOBER 26, 2004 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Suzanne Davis, Associate Planner Judie Gilli, Assistant Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Anthony Ghiossi, Senior Building Inspector Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer ITEM 1: 14595 Clearview Drive Architecture and Site Application S-05-022 Requesting approval to install a temporary tent in the parking lot for a golf cart cover on properties zoned R-1:20 and RC and prezoned R-1:12. PROPERTY OWNER: Nancy Bowen, Russell V. Roessler, Trustee, La Rinconada Property APPLICANT: Munglen Hsiao, The Stuart Rental Company Deemed complete. Linney moved to approve the application subject to the conditions repsented at the meeting with the following findings and considerations:1. The considerations required by Sec. 29.20.150 of the Town Code were all made in reviewing this application. 2.The application is Categorically Exempt from CEQA, Section 15303. Parsons seconded. Motion passed unanimously. Appeal rights cited. ITEM 2: Corner of Winchester Blvd and Newell Ave Architecture & Site Application S-04-056 Conditional Use Permit U-04-23 Negative Declaration ND-05-02 Requesting approval to construct a private parking lot on property zoned R -1:12. No significant environmental impacts have been identified as a result of this project, and a Mitigated Negative Declaration is recommended. APNS 409-24-001, 002, 003. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Western Athletic Clubs, Inc. Deemed incomplete by Planning and Engineering Divisions. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of November 10, 2004. ITEM 3: 234 Oak Meadow Drive Architecture and Site Application S-00-55 Negative Declaration ND-01-6 Requesting approval to demolish an existing office building and to construct a new office building on property zoned O. No significant environmental impacts have been identified as a result of this project and a Mitigated Negative Declaration is recommended. APN 529-10-125. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Oak Meadow Center, LLC Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of January 12, 2005. ITEM 4: 484 Woodland Avenue Subdivision Application M-04-9 Requesting approval of a 70 lot subdivision to convert a rental mobile home park to a resident ownership mobile home park for the Los Gatos Mobile Home Park on property zoned RMH. APN: 529-06-062, 063, 064, PROPERTY OWNER: MBLG, LLC APPLICANT: Green Valley Corporation Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of November 10, 2004. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 10:00 A.M.
