05-18-04 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR MAY 18, 2004 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Anthony Ghiossi, Senior Building Inspector Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer PUBLIC HEARING ITEM 1: 15047 Los Gatos Blvd. Architecture and Site Application S-04-40 Requesting approval to construct a two-story office building on property zoned CH:PD. APN 424-07-087. PROPERTY OWNER: Josco Properties APPLICANT: John Lien, Architect 1. Chair Baily opened the public hearing. 2. Staff gave report on proposed project. 3. Applicant was introduced 4. Members of the public were present: Bill and Liz Hirschman 5. Public hearing closed. 6. Parsons moved to approve the application subject to the conditions presented with the following findings and considerations: * It has been determined that this project will not have a significant impact on the environment and a Mitigated Negative Declaration was previously prepared for this proposal. * As required by Section 29.20.150 of the Town Code for Architecture and Site applications. The considerations required by Sec. 29.20.150 of the Town Code were all made in reviewing this application. 7. Linney seconded, motion passed unanimously. 8. Appeal rights were cited. ITEM 2: 615 University Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-04-32 Requesting approval to repair a fire damaged building and to change the facade on property zoned LM. APN 529-10-090. PROPERTY OWNER: James Malamatenios APPLICANT: Bob Coen Application was deemed complete. Linney moved to approve the application subject to the conditions presented with the following findings and considerations: * As required by Section 29.20.150 of the Town Code for Architecture and Site applications. The considerations required by Sec. 29.20.150 of the Town Code were all made in reviewing this application. * The application is Categorically Exempt from CEQA, Section 15302. Appeal rights were cited. ITEM 3: 15820 Shady Lane Subdivision Application M-04-0007 Requesting approval of a Certificate of Compliance to legalize two lots on property zoned HR-1. APN 527-04-008 & 009. PROPERTY OWNER: Sandra and William Griffiths APPLICANT: Howell and McNeil Development, LLC Application deemed complete. Parsons moved to approve the application subject to the conditions presented at the meeting. Ghiossi seconded the motion. Passed unanimously. Appeal rights were cited.
