04-13-04 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR APRIL 13, 2004 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Suzanne Davis, Associate Planner Joel Paulson, Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Anthony Ghiossi, Senior Building Inspector Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer PUBLIC HEARING ITEM 1: 16800 Cypress Way Architecture and Site Application S-04-20 Requesting approval to demolish and construct a single family residence on property zoned HR-1. APN 532-23-055. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Diane and Mike Michaelis 1. Chair Baily opened the public hearing. 2. Staff gave report on proposed project. 3. Applicant was introduced 4. Members of the public were present: Cindy DeSantis, neighbor, spoke in favor of the project. 5. Public hearing closed. 6. Parsons moved to make the following findings and considerations and approved the application subject to the conditions presented: 1) That the proposed project is categorically exempt, pursuant to Section 15303 of the California Environmental Quality Act as adopted by the Town; and 2) As required by Section 29.10.09030(e) of the Town Code, for the demolition of the existing single family residence; and 3) That the project is in conformance with the considerations for Architecture and Site applications as set forth in Section 29.20.150 of the Zoning Ordinance. 7 Paulson seconded, motion passed unanimously. 8 Appeal rights were cited. ITEM 2: 14300 Winchester Boulevard Planned Development Application PD-04-4 Requesting to modify an approved Planned Development relating to the allowed square footage of office space on property zoned CM:PD. An Addendum to the Environmental Impact Report will be prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act. APN 424-32-068. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Sobrato Development Companies Representative for the project not present. Application deemed complete, contingent upon receipt of revised plans. Matter scheduled for a special meeting of the Planning Commission on April 20, 2004. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 9:35 A.M.
