SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR MARCH 9, 2004 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER,
110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chair Baily.
ATTENDANCE
Members Present:
Sandy Baily, Associate Planner
Suzanne Davis, Associate Planner
Julie Linney, Fire Department
Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer
Janet Wolf, Neighbor
PUBLIC HEARING:
ITEM 1: 211 Bachman Avenue
Architecture and Site Application S-04-28
Historic Architecture and Site Application HS-04-010
Requesting approval of a time extension to construct a detached garage within the
required setbacks and for a first and second story addition on a nonconforming lot
zoned R-1D:LHP. APN 510-17-056.
PROPERTY OWNER: Forrest Straight
APPLICANT: John Lien
1. Chair Baily opened the public hearing.
2. Staff gave report on proposed project.
3. Applicant was introduced
4. Members of the public were present.
5. Public hearing closed.
6. Chair Baily moved to approve the application subject to conditions presented
at the hearing with the following findings:
· Pursuant to Sec. 29.20.325 of the Town Code:
(1)There would be no legal impediment to granting a new application
for the same approval in that it complies with all current Town
Code requirements.
(2)The conditions originally applied or new conditions to be applied as
a part of the extension approval are adopted to any new facts
concerning the proposed project.
· The application is Categorically Exempt from CEQA, Section 15303.
7. Parsons seconded, motion passed unanimously.
Non-Public Hearing:
ITEM 2: 16135 Cerro Vista Drive
Architecture and Site Application S-04-8
Requesting approval to construct a single family residence on property zoned HR-2
½. APN 537-30-18.
PROPERTY OWNER: Steve and Leslie Wilson
APPLICANT: Tom Sloan
Deemed incomplete by Planning and Engineering Divisions and the Fire Department.
Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be
scheduled for a Planning Commission hearing.
ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 10:15 A.M. The next regularly scheduled meeting
of the Development Review Committee is the next Tuesday.
