SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR NOVEMBER 25, 2003 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC
CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chair Baily.
ATTENDANCE
Tom Williams, Assistant Director
Judie Gilli, Assistant Planner
Julie Linney, Fire Department
Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer
Kevin Parker, Short Road, Resident
Ron Pryce, Applicant
Lynne Munemitsu, Blossom Hill Road, Resident
Daphne Watson, Stephenie Lane, Resident
Vicki Felock, Blossom Hill Road, Resident
Steve Glickman, Mayor
PUBLIC HEARING:
1. Chair opened the public hearing.
2. Staff gave three minute report on proposed project.
3. Applicant introduced himself and offered to answer any questions.
4. Questions from the public:
ITEM 1: 15940 Blossom Hill Road
Development Application M-04-5
Requesting approval of a three lot residential subdivision on property zoned R-1:8.
APNs 523-09-004 & 005, 527-06-007.
PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: B&K Enterprises
Lynne Munemitsu, Daphne Watson, and Vicki Felock had general questions:
A. Are homes approved as part of this application?
B. Where are the driveways?
C. Is there on street parking? They are concerned with traffic and parking.
D. How did this project end up in this configuration? They asked about the
cul-de sac configuration.
E. Will they be able to build a two story house?
F. How is drainage designed? They are concerned with water flooding their
homes.
Staff responded to each of their questions and alleviated their concerns.
Lynne Munemitsu, stated that she did not receive a notice of this hearing. Staff checked
the records and confirmed that a hearing notice was sent out to her address on Blossom
Hill Road.
Kevin Parker asked about the piece of land that will de dedicated to him. He will work
with Fletcher Parsons to discuss the details. Mr. Parker also asked if Town would support
a stop sign at Short Rd and Old Blossom Hill. Fletcher Parsons, stated that staff had
considered this and determined that it was not necessary at this time, but we would continue
to monitor that intersection and implement improvements as necessary.
5. Close public hearing.
6. Fletcher Parsons moved to approve Development Application M-04-5. Julie Linney
seconded.
7. Project approved with conditions as presented at the meeting.
ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 10:00 A.M. The nex t regularly scheduled meeting
of the Development Review Committee is the next Tuesday.
