07-15-03 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR JULY 15, 2003 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Joel Paulson, Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer ITEM 1: 32 E. Main Street Conditional Use Permit U-03-11 Requesting approval to modify a permit to allow wine tasting with an existing retail wine sales on property zoned C-2. APN 529-29-052. PROPERTY OWNER: Dave Flick APPLICANT: The French Cellar, Inc. Deemed complete. Matter tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of August 27, 2003. ITEM 2: 3 Kimble Avenue and 140 Cleland Avenue Subdivision Application (Certificate of Compliance) M-03-2 Subdivision Application (Lot Line Adjustment) M-03-3 Requesting approval of certificate of compliance to legalize two parcels and a lot line adjustment between two parcels all zoned R-1:D. APNS 529-34-055 and 056. PROPERTY OWNERS\APPLICANTS: Frank Deamant and Scott and Sivia Van Gundy Deemed complete. Application approved. ITEM 3: Los Gatos-Saratoga Road (Northside lot) Review of building permit plans for improvements of a public parking lot. APN 529-07-060 Plans were reviewed. To meet ADA requirements for disabled accessible spaces next to the bus stop, wheel stop blocks are required since the spaces are required to be level with the new sidewalk. If a continuous curb was installed, it would be cut at the end of each space to accommodate the ramp access to the walk which would result in a wheel stop block. ITEM 4: 138 Stacia Street Architecture and Site Application S-03-8 Requesting approval to demolish a pre-1941 single family residence and legal Second dwelling unit and to construct a new single family residence and Second dwelling unit on property zoned R-1:8. APN 532-29-091. APN 532-29-091. PROPERTY OWNER: Ross and Karen Werner APPLICANT: Russ Dotter Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, Notice of Intent to Approve will be mailed. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 9:45 A.M.
