11-26-02 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR NOVEMBER 26, 2002 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL LOBBY, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:05 am A.M. by Chair Castillo. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Jennifer Castillo, Assistant Planner Imad Bayashi, Assistant Engineer Suzanne Davis, Associate Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Darlene Monroe, Senior Building Inspector Fletcher Parsons, Associate Engineer Verbal Communications: Ray Davis expressed concern about on-going illegal demolitions. He will be letting the Town Council know about his concern next week. ITEM 1: 196 Lu Ray Drive Architecture and Site Application S-02-82 Requesting approval to legalize an unlawful demolition and to construct a new single family residence which reflects the approved building permit plans for an addition on property zoned R-1:10. PROPERTY OWNER: Charlie and Vesmina Fish APPLICANT: Holly Hartman The application was deemed complete. Notice of Intent to Approve will be sent out today (a 10-day review period applies). ITEM 2: 30 Pageant Way Architecture and Site Application S-02-81 Requesting approval to exceed the allowable floor area ratio on a pre-1941 single family residence and to project into the required setbacks on a nonconforming lot zoned RM:5-12. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Con and Erika Venter The application is incomplete. The applicant will work with Planning and Engineering on the deficiencies. The application has been tentatively placed on the January 8, 2003 Planning Commission agenda. ITEM 3: 16358 Englewood Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-02-60 Requesting approval to demolish an existing residence and to construct a new residence with a detached garage\pool house over 450 square feet within the required setbacks on property zoned R-1:20. PROPERTY OWNER: Simon and Stephanie Patience APPLICANT: Britt/Rowe The application was deemed complete. The application will be advertised for the January 8, 2003 Planning Commission agenda. Story poles shall be placed on the site and 20 sets of 11 x 17 reductions and two full size sets of the plans shall be submitted to Planning by December 17, 2002.
