SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR OCTOBER 15, 2002 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC
CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Chair Baily.
ATTENDANCE
Members Present:
Sandy Baily, Associate Planner
Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner
Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner
Imad Bayashi, Assistant Engineer
Julie Linney, Fire Department
Darlene Monroe, Senior Building Inspector
Verbal Communications: Ray Davis spoke in favor of the new communication system
being put in the Council Chambers. He mentioned he did not have his walking stick
with him. He also mentioned that he felt DRC comments should be available before
the meeting.
ITEM 1: 5 N. Santa Cruz Avenue
Architecture and Site Application S-02-64
Requesting approval to install an awning on property zoned C-2:LHP.
PROPERTY OWNER: Louise B. Farwell et al
APPLICANT: Gymboree Corp
Matter will be referred to Historic Preservation Committee. Does not need to
return to DRC. Once complete, application will be approved.
ITEM 2: 335 N. Santa Cruz Avenue
Architecture and Site Application S-02-056
Requesting approval to modify the exterior of a building on property zoned C-2.
PROPERTY OWNER: Jeff Barnes
APPLICANT: Trofim Ttriatafillios/Charles Schwab
Matter will be referred to consulting architect. Does not need to return to DRC.
Pending review by consulting architect, application will be approved.
