08-27-02 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR AUGUST 27, 2002 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Jennifer Castillo, Assistant Planner Imad Bayashi, Assistant Engineer Julie Linney, Fire Department Verbal Communication: Ray Davis spoke and discussed a book he was reading concerning politics in the 1500's. ITEM 1: 17721 Foster Road Architecture and Site Application S-01-99 Requesting approval of a major remodel with addition to a single family residence and minor grading and to eliminate a secondary dwelling unit on property zoned HR-2 1/2. PROPERTY OWNER: Jeffrey and Kristi Miller APPLICANT: Lawrence Cook Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, Notice of Intent to Approve will be mailed. ITEM 2: 104 Hill Top Drive Minor Residential Development Application MR-02-29 Requesting approval of a grading permit to construct a pool and deck on property zoned HR- 2 1/2. PROPERTY OWNER: Brendan Eich APPLICANT: Elaine Shaw Deemed complete, Application was denied on the basis that the work proposed was found to be incompatible with the General Plan. Applicant was informed of appeal rights. ITEM 3: 14725 Sky Lane Architecture and Site Application S-02-019 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-5. PROPERTY OWNER: John and Karen Dilullo APPLICANT: H. Russell Dotter Deemed incomplete by Engineering Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission Agenda of September 11, 2002. ITEM 4: 104 Villa Avenue Conditional Use Permit Application U-02-12 Requesting approval to convert an existing residence into office space for the Civic Center on property zoned RM:5-12. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Town of Los Gatos Deemed complete. Tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission Agenda of September 25, 2002. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 9:35 A.M.
