09-04-01 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR, SEPTEMBER 4, 2001 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:10 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner Jennifer Castillo, Assistant Planner Tim Boyer, Parks and Forestry Division Trish Duarte, Senior Engineering Technician Julie Linney, Fire Department ITEM 1: 162 Villa Avenue (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-01-75 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned R-1D. PROPERTY OWNER: Westhills Investment Inc APPLICANT: James Rogers Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter is tentatively scheduled for the meeting of November 7, 2001. ITEM 2: 118 Harwood Court (Revised Plans) a. Architecture and Site Application S-00-75 b. Negative Declaration ND-01-4 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-2 1/2. No significant environmental impacts have been identified as a result of this project and a Negative Declaration is recommended. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Marian and Philip Siu Deemed complete. Matter already scheduled for a Planning Commission meeting as a continued item. ITEM 3: 240 Mistletoe Road Architecture and Site Application MR-01-34 Requesting approval of a second story addition to an existing single family residence and to project into the required setbacks on a nonconforming lot zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Robert, Steve, Bonnie Herzig and Elaine Jewell Representative for project not present. Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, Notice of Intent to Approve will be mailed. ITEM 4: 16060 Cerro Vista Drive Architecture and Site Application S-01-80 Requesting approval of a grading permit for retaining walls and cleaning the top soil on property zoned HR-1. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Bo and Kristina Brezoczky Deemed incomplete by Planning and Engineering Divisions. As proposed, the application could not be approved by the DRC. If the plans were mo dified to eliminate the fill, the Notice of Intent to Approve would be mailed. ITEM 5: 45 Manzanita Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-01-81 Requesting approval of a grading permit for a new driveway and a driveway extension to a proposed garage on property zoned HR-1. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Michael Conrad Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering and Parks & Forestry Divisions. Must return to DRC. ITEM 6: Reservoir Road a. Architecture and Site Application S-01-77 b. Subdivision Application M-01-13 c. Negative Declaration ND-01-11 Requesting approval of plans to remove the existing reservoir and facilities and a four lot subdivision on property zoned R-1:20. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: San Jose Water Company −3− Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering and Parks & Forestry Divisions. Must return to DRC. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 10:30 A.M.
