08-28-01 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR, AUGUST 28, 2001 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:05A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Suzanne Davis, Associate Planner Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner Jennifer Castillo, Assistant Planner Trish Duarte, Senior Engineering Technician Julie Linney, Fire Department Verbal Communications: Mr. Davis reiterated his concerns that the Fire Department did not have any issues about losing the reservoir on Reservoir Rd. Complimented Steve Lynch on following Town policies at the last DRC. ITEM 1: 17150 Mill Rise Way (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-00-105 Requesting approval to construct a new second story to a single family residence and approval of a grading permit to accommodate the first floor addition on property zoned HR-1. PROPERTY OWNER: Pat and Anne Romano APPLICANT: Sal Caruso Deemed incomplete by Planning & Engineering Divisions. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter is already scheduled for a Planning Commission meeting as a continued item. ITEM 2: 15047 Los Gatos Blvd a. Zone Change application Z-01-3 b. Lot Line Adjustment application M-01-12 Consider a request for approval of a zone change for approximately 7,000 square feet of property from RC to CH and a lot line adjustment between two parcels currently zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER: Yuki Farms APPLICANT: Thomas and Miyoko Yuki Deemed complete. Once required fee is paid, environmental review process will commence. ITEM 3: Lester Lane Conditional Use Permit U-01-17 Requesting approval to install a wireless telecom facility on an existing PG&E tower on property zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER: PG&E APPLICANT: Metropcs Representative for project did not show. Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for a Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 4: 17 Cross Way Architecture and Site Application S-01-78 Requesting approval to exceed the allowable Floor Area Ratio and to project into the required setbacks on a nonconforming lot zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER: Cecil Anison APPLICANT: Dan MacKay Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, either Notice of Intent to Approve will be mailed or matter will be referred to Planning Commission. ITEM 5: 15753 Shady Lane (Lot 1) (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-01-71 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-2 1/2. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Shawn Hailey Deemed incomplete by Planning and Engineering Divisions. Parks & Forestry comments not available. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, environmental review process will begin. ITEM 6: 15753 Shady Lane (Lot 2) (Revised Plans) a. Architecture and Site Application S-01-70 b. Subdivision Application M-01-9 c. Negative Declaration ND-01-10 Requesting approval of a two lot subdivision and to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-2 ½. If no significant environmental impacts are −3− identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER: Shawn Hailey APPLICANT: Kim Hailey Deemed incomplete by Planning and Engineering Divisions. Parks & Forestry comments not available. Does not need to return to DRC.
