08-21-01 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR, AUGUST 21, 2001 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:05A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner Jennifer Castillo, Assistant Planner Trish Duarte, Senior Engineering Technician Julie Linney, Fire Department Public Comment: Ray Davis spoke that copies of the DRC comments should be made available to the public at the meeting. Mr. Davis spoke positively about the Town Council meeting last night where an architect may be part of the DRC process. ITEM 1 14322 Mulberry Drive Architecture and Site Application S-01-79 Requesting approval of an unlawful demolition and to construct a new single family residence within the required setbacks, on a nonconforming lot zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Ali Yazdi and Firoozeh Deemed incomplete. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, Notice of Intent to Approve will be mailed. ITEM 3: 19 Highland Avenue a. Architecture and Site Application S-99-9 b. Negative Declaration ND-97-018 Requesting Architecture and Site approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-2 ½. No significant environmental impacts have been identified as a result of this project, and a Negative Declaration is recommended. PROPERTY OWNER: Angelo Orphan APPLICANT: Maurice Camargo Deemed incomplete by Planning & Engineering Divisions. Parks & Forestry comments not available. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter already scheduled for a Planning Commission agenda as a continued item. ITEM 2: 221 Alexander Avenue Subdivision Application M-01-10 Requesting approval to legalize two lots on property zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER: Eleanor Rumbaugh for estate of Mark Gazse APPLICANT: Terry McElroy Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, application will be approved. ITEM 4: Reservoir Road a. Architecture and Site Application S-01-77 b. Negative Declaration ND-01-11 Requesting approval of plans to remove the existing reservoir and facilities on property zoned R-1:20. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: San Jose Water Company Deemed incomplete by Planning & Engineering Divisions. Parks & Forestry comments not available. Must return to DRC.
