SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR July 17, 2001 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER,
110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA.

The meeting was called to order at 9:10A.M. by Chair Baily.
ATTENDANCE

Julie Linney, Fire Department

ITEM 1: 1456 Pollard Road (1480 Pollard Road - correct address)
Conditional Use Permit U-01-015
Requesting approval of a time extension to relocate a liquor store
(Rinconada Liquors) on property zoned C-1.
PROPERTY OWNER: Rinconada Hills Investment Company
APPLICANT: Muradali and Ashraf Tharwani
Representative for project did not show. Project deemed complete. Scheduled
for Planning Commission meeting of August 8, 2001 as a consent item.
ITEM 2: Oak Ridge Way
Architecture and Site Application S-01-068
Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned
R-1:20.
PROPERTY OWNER: Howard & Sharlene Abrams
APPLICANT: JR Smith - Avalon Studios, Inc.
Deemed incomplete by Engineering, Planning and Parks & Forestry Divisions. Does
not need to return to DRC. Once complete, Notice of Intent to approve
the application will be mailed.
ITEM 3: 25 Charles Street
a. Architecture and Site Application S-01-65
b. Variance Application V-01-2
Requesting approval to construct a new residence within the required setbacks on
a nonconforming lot and to have to have the required parking withing the required
setbacks on property zoned R-1:8.
PROPERTY OWNER: Town of Los Gatos
APPLICANT: Silicon Valley Habitat for Humanity
Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering and Parks & Forestry Departments.
Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for a
Planning Commission meeting.

of the Development Review Committee is Tuesday, July 24, 2001
