ATTENDANCE Members Present: Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner Tim Boyer, Parks Department Trish Duarte, Senior Engineer Technician Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department ITEM 1: 110 Regent Drive Architecture and Site S-01-53 Requesting approval of a grading permit to construct a new retaining wall on property zoned HR-1:PD. PROPERTY OWNER: Karen Vogel APPLICANT: Donna Sylvanovich Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and Parks & Forestry Divisions. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. ITEM 2: Northwest Corner of Newell Avenue and Winchester Blvd a. Rezoning Application with General Plan Amendment Z-01-1 b. Architecture and Site Application S-01-44 c. Variance Application V-01-1 c. Negative Declaration ND-01-7 Requesting approval of (a) a General Plan Amendment from low density to office and a zone change from R-1:8 and R-1:12 to O (b) Architecture and Site approval to construct an office building and (c) a Variance to reduce the required setbacks , to exceed the allowable lot coverage, and to have off-site parking. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project a Negative Declaration will be recommended. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Los Gatos Elks Building Corp. Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and Parks & Forestry Divisions. Must return to Development Review Committee. ITEM 3: 208 Bachman Avenue Conditional Use Permit U-01-12 Requesting approval to legalize a kitchen in a detached structure on property zoned C -2. PROPERTY OWNER: Bert Miller APPLICANT: C.B. Hannegan’s Restaurant Deemed complete. Item is scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting on 9/26/01. ITEM 4: 16583 Englewood Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-01-52 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new single family residence on property prezoned R-1:8. ITEM 6: 7 Spring Street Architecture and Site Application S-01-45 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new single family residence on property zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Edwin and Pauline Abate Deemed complete. Notice of intent to approve will be mailed. If no opposition is received, application will be approved. ITEM 7: 111 Lasuen Court Architecture and Site Application S-01-37 Requesting approval to construct a new two story single family residence on property zoned R-1:8.
