04-10-01 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR APRIL 10, 2001 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:00A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Suzanne Davis, Associate Planner Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner Tim Boyer, Parks and Forestry Division Fred Ho, Engineering Division Julie Linney, Fire Department VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS: Ray Davis expressed concern of driveways which exceeded a slope of 15 percent and expressed concern that the Town was approving large homes which impacts the energy issue. ITEM 1: 285 Wooded View Drive (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-99-13 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-2 ½. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Vino Malhotra APPLICANT: Tony Jeans Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to the Development Review Committee. Matter scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of April 25, 2001. ITEM 2: 135 Vineyard Court (Revised Plans) a. Minor Residential Development Application MR-01-12 b. Architecture and Site Application S-01-035 Requesting approval to construct a two-level addition below an existing house and a grading permit to accommodate the addition on property zoned R -1:20. PROPERTY OWNER: Heinz Roggenkemper and Janine Shue APPLICANT: Gregory Cole Deemed complete. Notice of intent to approve will be mailed. ITEM 3: 15986 Linda Avenue (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-01-31 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new residence on property zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER: Jenny Chang APPLICANT: Daryl Fazekas A representative was not present. Application was deemed complete. If the architecture is not revised to be compatible with the neighborhood, the application will be denied. ITEM 4: 16 Lyndon Avenue (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-01-39 Requesting approval to reconfigure a commercial parking lot and to reduce the parking to meet the requirements for disabled parking on property zoned C-2. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Suzanne Frazer Application deemed complete and approved. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 9:55 A.M.
