02-27-01 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR FEBRUARY 27, 2001 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Suzanne Davis, Associate Planner Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner John Iaquinto, Parks and Forestry Division Trish Duarte, Engineering Division Julie Linney, Fire Department Verbal Communication: Ray Davis spoke about problems within the government and hopes that the new Director and Manager will help resolve these issues. ITEM 1: 234 Oak Meadow Drive (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-00-55 Requesting approval to demolish an existing office building and to construct a new office building on property zoned O. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Oak Meadow Center, LLC Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and Parks and Forestry Divisions. Must return to Development Review Committee. ITEM 2: 285 Wooded View Drive (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-99-13 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR-2 ½. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Vino Malhotra Deemed incomplete by Planning and Parks and Forestry Divisions. Must return to Development Review Committee. ITEM 3: 16555 Shannon Road Architecture and Site Application S-01-14 Conditional Use Permit U-01-6 Requesting Architecture and Site approval and a modification of a Conditional Use Permit to add additional square footage and to modify existing classrooms on property zoned R -1:8. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Congregation Shir Hadash Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting as a consent item. ITEM 4: 219 Bean Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-01-16 Requesting approval to construct storage sheds on property zoned R-1D. PROPERTY OWNER: St. Marys Church APPLICANT: John Calhoun Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, notice of intent to approve will be mailed. ITEM 5: Oak Hill Way a. Architecture and Site Application S-01-18 b. Negative Declaration ND-01-5 DRC Minutes February 27, 2001 −3− Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence in the R-1D zone. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project a Negative Declaration will be recommended. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: James Kennedy Applicant did not show. Continued to next meeting. ITEM 6. 17520 High Street Architecture and Site Application S-01-17 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new residence on property zoned HR-1. PROPERTY OWNER: Steve Goodison APPLICANT: Mike Vierhus Deemed incomplete by Planning, Parks and Forestry and Engineering Divisions. Must return to Development Review Committee. ITEM 7: 1300 Pollard Road a. Subdivision Application M-01-3 b. Architecture and Site Applications S-01-19 through S-01-030 Requesting approval of a 12 lot subdivision and approval to construct 12 new single family residences on property zoned RM:5-12:PD. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Santa Clara Development Company Deemed incomplete by Planning Division. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting as a consent item. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 10:50 A.M.
