02-06-01 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR FEBRUARY 6, 2001 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:00A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner Ruben Galvan, Parks and Forestry Division Trish Duarte, Senior Engineer Technician Steve Lynch, Assistant Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Chris Riordan, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner Verbal Communication Ray Davis spoke and questioned how the Development Review Committee (DRC) functions and is concerned that decisions are not being made at the DRC meetings. ITEM 1: 15350 Suview Drive (Revised Plans) Architecture and Site Application S-00-22 Requesting approval to construct a new residence on property zoned HR-2 ½. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Charles Hackett Deemed incomplete by the Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter is tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of March 28, 2001. ITEM 2: 1440-1496 Pollard Road Architecture and Site Application S-01-9 Requesting approval of exterior modifications to Longs Drug Store on property zoned C-1. PROPERTY OWNER: Duckett-Wilson Development Company APPLICANT: Rinconada Hills Investment Company Deemed incomplete by Parks and Forestry and Planning Divisions. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission agenda. ITEM 3: 815 Pollard Road Architecture and Site Application S-01-3 Requesting approval for exterior site work for the installation of an MRI Modular Bui lding and to restripe parking spaces on property zoned O. PROPERTY OWNER: Health Care Property Partners APPLICANT: AKOL Architects Deemed incomplete by the Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, application will be approved. ITEM 4: 20 S. Santa Cruz Avenue #218 Architecture and Site Application S-01-8 Requesting approval to modify the entry door to Willow Street Pizza and to install an arbor on property zoned C-2. PROPERTY OWNER: Park Row East Apartments (Lyndon Plaza) APPLICANT: Kahn Design Associates Deemed incomplete by the Planning Division. Does not need to return to DRC. Matter has been tentatively scheduled for the Planning Commission meeting of April 25, 2001. ITEM 5: 16468 Camellia Terrace −3− Architecture and Site Application S-01-11 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new residence on property pre-zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Gregory Pache Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and Parks and Forestry Divisions. Does not need to return to DRC. If proposed residence is determined to be compatible with neighborhood, the notice of intent to approve will be mailed. If it is not compatible, application will be denied or referred to Planning Commission. ITEM 6: 16719 Farley Road Architecture and Site Application S-01-10 Requesting approval to construct a first and second floor addition which exceeds the Floor Area Ratio and to project into the required setbacks on a nonconforming parcel zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER \APPLICANT: Curtis and Michelle Walton Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and Parks and Forestry Divisions. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission agenda. ITEM 7: 16900 Roberts Road Architecture and Site Application S-01-7 Requesting approval to demolish a pre-1941 single family residence and a secondary dwelling unit to construct a new residence on property zoned RM:5-12. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Behnoosh Samani Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering, and Parks and Forestry Divisions. Does not need to return to DRC.
