01-02-01 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR JANUARY 2, 2001 IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner John Iaquinto, Parks & Forestry Chris Verguson, Fire Department Trish Duarte, Engineering Chris Riordan, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner Steven Lynch, Assistant Planner Joel Paulson, Assistant Planner ITEM 1: 1 Massol Court (Revised) Conditional Use Permit U-00-28 Requesting approval to convert a unlawful attached accessory living quarters to a secondary dwelling unit on property zoned R-1D:LHP. PROPERTY OWNER: Martina Gaerber-Fest APPLICANT: E. Gary Schloh Deemed incomplete. Does not need to return to the Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission hearing as a consent item. ITEM 2: Larga Vista Drive (Revised) Architecture and Site Application S-00-115 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence with a swimming pool on property zoned RC. PROPERTY OWNER: Jeffrey L. Pochop, Jr. APPLICANT: Stern & Champion Deemed incomplete by Planning, Environmental Health, Parks & Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 3: 315 Pennsylvania Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-00-123 Requesting approval to construct a new residence on property zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Michael Grabill Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering and Parks & Forestry Departments. Questionable at this time what action of the Development Review Committee will be due to proposed removal of a significant tree. Further research will be done by the Parks & Forestry Department. ITEM 4: 160 Villa Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-00-120 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new residence on property zoned R-1D. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: James Kennedy Deemed incomplete by Building, Parks & Forestry and Planning Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, notice of intent to approve will be mailed. ITEM 5: 145 Bella Vista Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-00-121 Requesting approval to construct a new residence on property zoned R -1:8. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: James Kennedy Deemed incomplete by Parks & Forestry, Engineering and Planning Departments. Once complete, environmental review process will begin. ITEM 6: 15425 Los Gatos Boulevard Conditional Use Permit U-00-34 DRC Minutes January 2, 2001 −3− Requesting approval to install a roof mounted broadband antenna on property zoned CH. PROPERTY OWNER: Floyd Gaines APPLICANT: Advanced Radio Telecom Deemed complete. Matter will be scheduled for a Planning Commission hearing once the mock up is in place. Questionable at this time as to whether or not this matter will be a consent item. ITEM 7: 15651 Camino del Cerro Architecture and Site Application S-00-122 Requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and to construct a new residence on property zoned R-1:8. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Carl F. Sermon Deemed incomplete by Planning and Parks & Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, notice of intent to approve will be mailed if architecture is determined to be consistent with the neighborhood. ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 10:10 A.M.
