08-22-00 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR AUGUST 22, 2000 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:10 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Tim Boyer, Parks Department Trish Duarte, Engineering Chris Riordan, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner ITEM 1: 15171 Los Gatos Boulevard Conditional Use Permit U-00-24 Requesting approval to modify a conditional use permit to install a new island with gas pumps on property zoned CH. PROPERTY OWNER: Tom Wray APPLICANT: Michael J. Majors II Deemed incomplete by Planning & Engineering Departments. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting as a consent item. ITEM 2: 16084 Greenridge Terrace Architecture and Site Application S-00-23 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned HR -1. PROPERTY OWNER: Statton Industries, LP APPLICANT: Tony Jeans, T.H.I.S. Design Deemed complete. Matter already scheduled as a continued item from the Planning Commission meeting of 9/13/00. ITEM 3: 1300 Pollard Road a. Development Application DEV-97-9 b. Negative Declaration Application ND-97-17 Requesting approval of a Planned Development Application to change th e zone from R-1:8 to RM:5-12 PD to construct 14 residential units. No significant environmental impacts have been identified as a result of this project, and a Negative Declaration is recommended. PROPERTY OWNER: Werner Goese APPLICANT: Santa Clara Development Company Deemed incomplete by Engineering, Fire & Planning Departments. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for the next available Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 4: 300 Calle Marguerita a. Development Application PD-99-002 b. Negative Declaration ND-99-10 Request for approval of a zone change from R-1:8 to RM:5-12:PD to construct eight townhouses. If no significant environmental impacts are identified as a result of this project, a Negative Declaration will be recommended and an Environmental Impact Report will not be required. PROPERTY OWNER: HL & L 99 LLC APPLICANT: Sui Hwu Deemed incomplete by Planning, Fire, Engineering & Parks and Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, environmental review process will commence. ITEM 5: 15931 Union Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-00-73 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned R -1:8. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Union Avenue Development Deemed incomplete by Planning, Engineering & Parks and Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, notice of intent to approve the application DRC Minutes August 22, 2000 −3− will be mailed. ITEM 6: 95 Alpine Avenue Architecture and Site Application S-00-74 Requesting approval of a grading permit for landscaping on property zoned R -1:20. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: John and Betty Deemed incomplete by Planning & Parks and Forestry Departments. Does not need to return to DRC. Once complete, notice of intent to approve will be mailed.
