08-15-00 Minutes - DRC TOWN OF LOS GATOS 110 East Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032 (408) 354-6872 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR AUGUST 15, 2000 HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CIVIC CENTER, 110 EAST MAIN STREET, LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- The meeting was called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Chair Baily. ATTENDANCE Members Present: Sandy Baily, Associate Planner Julie Linney, Fire Department Tim Boyer, Parks Department Trish Duarte, Engineering Chris Riordan, Assistant Planner Steve Kowalski, Assistant Planner Steven Lynch, Assistant Planner Verbal Communications Ray Davis spoke concerning fire prevention considerations. ITEM 1: 16158 Kennedy Road Architecture and Site Application S-99-8 Requesting approval of a grading permit for on property zoned HR-2 ½. PROPERTY OWNER\APPLICANT: Howard and Jeanette Spinner Deemed incomplete by Parks & Forestry, Planning & Engineering Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will either be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting or notice of intent to approve will be mailed. ITEM 2: 15500 Los Gatos Boulevard Architecture and Site Approval S-00-67 Requesting approval to install an awing around the perimeter of the building and a mezanine within the building on property zoned CH. PROPERTY OWNER: Moore Family Trust APPLICANT: John Moore Deemed incomplete by Planning Department. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. Once complete, matter will be scheduled for next available Planning Commission meeting. ITEM 3: 98 Forrest Avenue a. Subdivision Application M-00-12 b. Architecture and Site Application S-00-71 and S-00-72 Requesting approval to subdivide a parcel into two lots and to demolish a pre-1941 residence and to construct two condominium units on property zoned RM:5-20. PROPERTY OWNER/APPLICANT: Daryoush Marhamat Deemed incomplete by Parks & Forestry, Public Works & Planning Departments. Must return to Development Review Committee. ITEM 4: Dover Ct (Lot 1) Architecture and Site Application S-00-68 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned R -1:8. PROPERTY OWNER: Joseph Cagno APPLICANT: Justin Gallego Deemed incomplete by Parks & Forestry, Engineering & Planning Departments. Does not need to return to Development Review Committee. ITEM 6: Dover Ct (Lot 3) Architecture and Site Application S-00-70 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property zoned R -1:8. ITEM 7: 17427 Farley Road Architecture and Site Application S-00-66 Requesting approval to make a minor modification to relocate interior stairs to the exterior of an office building on property zoned LM. PROPERTY OWNER: Janet Thrasher APPLICANT: Noel Cross Application found to be complete and approved. ITEM 8: 15171 Los Gatos Boulevard Conditional Use Permit U-00-24 Requesting approval to modify a conditional use permit to install a new island with gas pumps on property zoned CH. PROPERTY OWNER: Tom Wray APPLICANT: Michael J. Majors II Applicant did not show, matter was continued to the next meeting. ITEM 9: Corner of Kennedy and Shannon Roads Architecture and Site Application S-00-40 Requesting approval to construct a new single family residence on property prezoned HR-20.
